The longest badminton rally in a competitive match is 211 shots, which occurred during the 2023 Malaysia Masters badminton tournament in Kuala Lumpur. The rally took place in the women's Round of 16 match between Malaysia's Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan, and Japan's Rena Miyaura and Ayako Sakuramoto, and lasted over three minutes

morning off to play at HLLC as schools' sport halls shut for exams.  Ken (nearly 80 now and one of my role models )  and I won the first game vs Rainbow and Rob 😂 21:19 though injured

Hit Ken at the side of eye bow :( and his eye infected and blacked next day We should shout:  "mine", "yours" et al loudly to avoid clashing 🙏.

We should have gone to the reception for some treatment (to avoid infection, for example)
BTW, shoulder injured and shall stop badminton for couple weeks

Felessia/James vs Elvin/John (over 80 accurate and deep/sharp angles, long time not seeing) was 0-9 down as well (old scoring system 15 points)
Felessia kept encourage me : 'Come on', ' Don't give up, James !' 🤣😎

Hip joint hurts (played again in the evening at Abbs Cross as there were too few players):

Interesting games games at night at EPBC:

beat Kaine and Jocob 4 times (with MikeT, Desmond, 2 times with Alan - generation game).  total last night  7 wins and 4 loses (15 points scoring as one court out of use)
Kaine and Jocob - the pair won all previous generation games (JohnW/James, Richard/James , Rainbow/James and George/James et al)

August 8, 2026 played 4 and half hours today.  wins are lots more than losses 

Kim/James beat Natasha/Desmond - inrediable  (Kim made history.  Guess: Desmond thought it was easy and did not take the game seriously in the beginning 😂) 
JohnH/James beat MikeB/Jones - incredible 

Fred/James beat the Bangladesh team who looked very powerful 😊
Fred/James 1:2 lost Goerge/Rainbow 😢 un-imagable (game 2 30:29)
